To Our Vanguard Patients,
We want to assure you that Vanguard Skin Specialists is committed to ensuring the health and safety of our patients and team members. Providing a clean environment has always been a priority. We are taking additional measures to provide a safe, sanitary environment to protect against coronavirus (COVID-19).
We have the following procedures in place:
- We continue to disinfect exam rooms thoroughly between every patient encounter. This includes disinfecting the exam chair, companion chair, work surfaces, door handles, and surgical lights handles.
- We are increasing the frequency of disinfecting the waiting area, counters, bathrooms, and other high touch surfaces to multiple times a day.
- We are screening patients to determine risk for COVID-19. We thank you in advance for your understanding if we ask you to reschedule and/or isolate you from other patients.
- We are temporarily a “no handshake” environment for the safety of our patients.
We ask that our patients and team members follow these procedures:
- Please wash your hands or use our hand sanitizer upon arrival.
- If you are sick, exhibiting any symptoms of a virus, have been exposed to a COVID-19 patient, or have traveled to a Level 2 country or higher, please reschedule your appointment.
- Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue and then dispose of it immediately.
- Avoid touching your face and mouth.
