Dr. Vinh Chung, Mohs Surgeon

Vanguard Co-founder, Board-certified Dermatologist, and Fellowship-trained Mohs Surgeon, Dr. Chung, has treated patients with various skin conditions, concerns, and unique requirements. He himself is a sensitive skin patient, and therefor favors products that are as effective in protecting his skin as they are gentle in their delivery.

For this reason, Dr. Chung’s daily skincare regimen includes the following items.

1. EltaMD UV Clear. As he shares, “It’s the primary sunscreen that I use. I have sensitive skin and rosacea, and I also hate the feeling of heavy products. This sunscreen is lightweight, provides physical protection, and supplies SPF 46 coverage.”

Dr. Maria Sheron, Dermatologist

Dr. Sheron is a Board-certified Dermatologist who specializes in both medical and surgical dermatology. She has spent years working directly with her patients to develop skincare regimens that work well for their needs.

Dr. Sheron’s favorite products are as follows:

2. Cerave Cream: Following application of her favorite sunscreen, Dr. Sheron them applies her go-to moisturizer. In her words, “This is a hydrating cream that does not feel heavy. This cream contains ceramides which help with barrier function and is very helpful in our dry climate. Cerave products are also fairly hypoallergenic.”
