Positions we are typically interviewing for throughout the year:
We recruit medical assistants with a range of backgrounds and MAs at Vanguard have a high degree of responsibility. Our MAs care for patients from the beginning to the end of each visit, taking care of everything from intake, to assisting the medical provider, to documenting visits, to handling labs and prescriptions. Our top MAs take on additional responsibilities across the practice.
For someone who does not have an MA certification, you may start as a scribe. After gaining the necessary clinical hours, Vanguard assists with the certification process.
Ideal candidate has a typing speed of >50wpm.
Join an outstanding billing team, which has a stellar track record while providing great customer service to patients. This job entails coding claims, verifying insurance, working A/R and assisting with patient questions. Work in a collaborative and team-oriented billing group. We recruit billers and coders; the ideal candidate has prior billing and coding experience.
Our Patient Care and Patient Services teams handle all administrative aspects of the practice. Responsibilities include answering the phone, scheduling patients, assisting with patient and doctor requests, working at the reception desk, preparing patient files, and handling a wide range of administrative projects.
This is a full-time position with business hours Monday to Friday. Most team members work 4 to 4.5 days per week.
Ideal candidates have excellent customer service skills and high attention to detail. A 4 year college degree or comparable experience is required.
