PERSONAL HISTORY
John was born and raised in the small farming community of Mesilla, New Mexico. He grew up working on the family farm that his grandfather established after returning from World War II. His parents instilled the value of hard work from an early age as he helped irrigate crops, drive tractors, and harvest pecans. They encouraged him to pursue a career that would help others and make a positive impact in the world.
John and his wife, Natalie, were childhood friends who became high school sweethearts and married shortly after college. They share two wonderful sons and a love of traveling, hiking, and exploring national parks together. John enjoys cooking including making BBQ on the weekend, reading, and getting into the mountains every chance he gets. He and his family are excited to call Colorado Springs home.
