PERSONAL HISTORY
Sean was born in Colorado Springs to his mother, who immigrated from the Philippines, and father, who served 22 years as an Air Force Master Sergeant. His time growing up was spent with his younger sister between Colorado and England, and occasionally visiting family in the Philippines. Most of his free time between middle school and college was spent skateboarding, snowboarding, or long-distance running.
He fostered an interest in pursuing medicine as a career from performing pseudo-science experiments as a young child and witnessing and consoling a car crash survivor during high school. This interest grew after forming meaningful relationships with patients while serving as a Medical Assistant at Vanguard. While studying to become a Physician Assistant, he spent a lot of time experiencing the diverse cultures (and foods) that Chicago had to offer, before homesickness brought him back to Colorado. Nowadays, you will find him cooking new recipes, playing card games, car detailing, or wrenching on cars in his free time.
Sean met his wife, Caroline, while working at Vanguard as a Medical Assistant (not on the job!). They enjoy their free time cooking, baking, traveling, attending Broadway shows, and making memories with their two dogs, Coconut and Butter.
