The WOW Promise: Skin Cancer Care, Faster Than Ever

The WOW Promise: Skin Cancer Care, Faster Than Ever

By Vinh Chung, MD

At Vanguard, we’re proud to offer comprehensive dermatology and plastic surgery services to care for a wide range of medical concerns. But one concern rises above the rest: skin cancer.

The good news? Skin cancer is highly curable when caught early. That’s why we make early diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer our top priority.

Our Commitment: Skin Cancer Checks Within One Week (WOW)

If you have a concerning growth, we promise to see you Within One Week. We call this the WOW Promise.

Why the urgency? Because early diagnosis leads to early treatment—and the best chance for a cure.

Here is how we will make it happen. Across our ten offices, our providers are committed to getting you in fast:

  • We’ll fit you in during the day,
  • Add you at the end of the day,
  • Even see you on Saturdays if that’s what it takes.

If your spot looks concerning for cancer, we can perform a biopsy during the same visit. Our in-house lab allows us to process the specimen quickly—often within one week.

One Team, One Location: Mohs Surgery at Vanguard

Should you need surgery, our Mohs and plastic surgeons work side by side so your treatment can happen in one place, seamlessly. After surgery, you’ll receive your surgeon’s direct phone number—because your peace of mind matters, day or night.

Don’t Wait. We’re Here to Help.

Nothing is more rewarding in medicine than saving a life. And we’ll do everything we can to ensure a small spot on your skin doesn’t turn into something serious.

If you have a worrisome growth, we will see you Within One Week.
That’s the Vanguard WOW Promise.
