Adam Vaudreuil, MD

For Dr. Adam Vaudreuil, medicine is both a science and a service—a way to combine curiosity, precision, and genuine connection. A Colorado Springs native, he grew up playing soccer and developing a lifelong love for the outdoors. His early interest in biology and anatomy led him to study biomedical sciences at Colorado State University, where he graduated magna cum laude and served as a teaching assistant in anatomy and neuroanatomy.

Dr. Vaudreuil went on to earn his medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his internship at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and dermatology residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago, serving as Chief Resident during his final year. His residency experience fostered a passion for medical and surgical dermatology, with a focus on providing attentive, evidence-based care.

In 2021, Dr. Vaudreuil returned home to Colorado to join Vanguard Skin Specialists, drawn to the practice’s mission of excellence, compassion, and community impact. Today, he treats patients of all ages, emphasizing education, prevention, and early detection of skin cancer.

Outside of work, Dr. Vaudreuil enjoys a variety of hobbies, from exercise and home improvement projects to movies and television. He and his wife, Alexa, love cooking together, taking care of their two children, and traveling with friends. Grounded in Colorado roots, Dr. Vaudreuil combines deep medical knowledge with a down-to-earth approach that helps patients feel cared for, informed, and confident in their skin.
