Anneliese Hale,

Anneliese is an (almost) Colorado native and grew up on the east side of Colorado Springs. She grew up staying active and competing with her two brothers in nearly every aspect of life. She was constantly playing basketball in her grandma’s driveway and chasing the ball across Woodmen Road—back when it was safe to do that. At a young age, she learned the value of hard work by competing in jump rope at the Junior Olympics, playing competitive soccer, and eventually earning a soccer scholarship to play in college.

She attended McPherson College and Majored in Biochemistry/Pre-med. She began her career in dermatology as a medical assistant at Vanguard Dermatology before attending Midwestern University in Phoenix, Arizona where she received her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies. After returning to Colorado, she spent the last 10 years working in emergency medicine, family practice, and urgent care. She is passionate about educating patients and explaining medical conditions in a way that helps them understand their health and empowers patients to continue learning. She is excited to return to dermatology, rejoin the team at Vanguard Dermatology, and continue serving the Colorado Springs community. Her passion is early detection of skin cancer and helping patients feel confident.

In her free time, Anneliese enjoys playing soccer, redecorating her home, and cheering on her children as they travel from one sporting event to the next. She recently learned to ski and now enjoys family trips to Keystone with her husband and their four children.
