Landon Barton,

Landon Barton grew up in Monument and Colorado Springs, where his childhood adventures biking, skiing, and climbing fostered a fascination with both the natural world and the human body. After graduating from Lewis-Palmer High School, he went to the University of Colorado at Boulder, earning his bachelor’s in integrative physiology while racing mountain bikes competitively and volunteering with a nonprofit focused on clean-water projects in Haiti and Nepal.

Motivated by a desire to combine his love of service with medicine, Landon initially joined the medical team at Vanguard Skin Specialists as a medical assistant before returning to school. He completed his master’s training in physician assistant studies at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, and then formally joined the Vanguard team as a dermatology PA-C.

Today, Landon specializes in diagnosing skin cancer and managing medical dermatology for patients across Southern Colorado. His approach is grounded in empathy, clear communication, and early detection, especially in his multi-office settings. When he’s not in the clinic, he’s likely exploring Colorado’s trails on his mountain bike, skiing Aspen’s slopes, camping beneath the stars, or cheering on his suburban outdoor team of friends and family. With his roots in Colorado and his heart in service, Landon brings both local commitment and global perspective to his care.
