Megan Stimpson,

Growing up in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Megan Stimpson developed a deep love for nature and wellness that would later guide her professional path. While at the University of Georgina, where she graduated cum laude, Megan spent time in Cusco, Peru, conducting air-quality research—an experience that reinforced her interest in public health and the impact of environmental factors on skin.

She went on to complete her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at the Medical University of South Carolina, where her clinical rotations and research in pediatric health inspired her to pursue dermatology. A medical mission trip to Haiti further expanded her worldview, teaching her the importance of access, education, and preventive care—values that remain central to her practice today.

In 2017, Megan and her family relocated to Colorado, drawn by the mountains and the opportunity to join Vanguard Skin Specialists, a practice that shares her passion for purpose-driven medicine. At Vanguard, she provides compassionate dermatologic care for patients of all ages, with a focus on skin cancer screenings, patch testing, and helping families adopt healthy skin habits.

Outside the clinic, Megan can often be found running, cycling, or exploring the trails of Colorado Springs. Whether she’s caring for a young patient or guiding someone through a skin-cancer diagnosis, Megan brings a steady blend of empathy, science, and joy to everything she does.
