At Vanguard Skin Specialists, we believe strong communities are built when people come together to help one another. That spirit of collaboration is exactly what makes COSILoveYou such a meaningful organization in Colorado Springs, and we’re proud to recognize them as the third recipient of our 2026 Give Thanks initiative.
COSILoveYou brings churches, businesses, nonprofits, and community leaders together to address some of the most important challenges facing Colorado Springs. Rather than working separately, COSILoveYou creates opportunities for people and organizations to work side by side, turning shared compassion into meaningful action throughout the community.
As part of our Give Thanks support, Vanguard is helping fund School Connect COS, a COSILoveYou program that builds “villages” of community support around local Title I schools. Churches, businesses, nonprofits, and neighbors are brought together to help schools address needs such as food insecurity, homelessness, and mental health. By connecting schools with community partners, the program provides additional support for students, families, and educators without adding to the workload of teachers and school staff.
Today, School Connect COS is active across three local school districts, supporting 45 schools and approximately 22,000 students. In 2026 alone, more than 200 community partners have participated through School Connect events, helping create stronger connections between schools and the communities around them.
COSILoveYou also brings the community together through CityServe Days, the largest single-day volunteer event in El Paso County. Held twice each year, thousands of volunteers serve at hundreds of locations, including schools, parks, community centers, and local nonprofits. This year’s fall CityServe Days will take place October 2–3, with volunteer opportunities available at schools throughout the Colorado Springs area.
We are honored to recognize COSILoveYou through our 2026 Give Thanks initiative and support their work to bring people together and create meaningful change in our community.
