At Vanguard Skin Specialists, we believe healthy communities are built when organizations come together to care for people during life’s most challenging moment. That’s why we’re honored to announce Safe Families for Children Alliance – Pikes Peak as the first recipient of this year’s Give Thanks initiative.
Safe Families for Children Alliance – Pikes Peak is a locally operated nonprofit that brings compassionate volunteers alongside families facing temporary challenges. Serving El Paso County and surrounding communities, the organization provides relationship-based support to help keep children safe and, whenever possible, prevent unnecessary separation from their families.
No parent should face life’s hardest moments alone. Through a Circle of Support, caring volunteers offer friendship, temporary care for children as needed, mentoring for parents, and practical help such as meals, transportation, and other essential resources.
Since the first volunteers came together in 2016, Safes Families has served more than 400 children, parents, and caregivers, with 98% of children safely remaining with or returning to their families, strengthening families, and building a more connected community.
Thank you to Safe Families for Children Alliance – Pikes Peak for the incredible work you do every day. We are honored to recognize your impact through our 2026 Give Thanks initiative and invite our community to join us in supporting your mission.
