Vanguard Skin Specialists Supports CASA of the Pikes Peak Region Through the 2026 Give Thanks Initiative

Vanguard Skin Specialists is proud to recognize CASA of the Pikes Peak Region as the second recipient of our 2026 Give Thanks initiative. Serving children and families throughout El Paso and Teller counties, CASA provides advocacy, resources, and support during some of life’s most difficult circumstances.

At Vanguard, we believe some of the greatest impacts happen behind the scenes through organizations that work tirelessly to care for their communities. We are honored to be one of CASA of the Pikes Peak Region’s Business Partners and to support the important work they do for children and families across Southern Colorado.

Supporting Children and Families Across the Pikes Peak Region

For more than 35 years, CASA of the Pikes Peak Region has advocated for children experiencing abuse, neglect, and domestic violence throughout the 4th Judicial District.

Court Appointed Special Advocates, or CASAs, are trained volunteers who build relationships with the children they serve and advocate for their best interests throughout the court process. By working with children, families, professionals, and the courts, CASA volunteers help ensure judges have the information they need to make decisions centered on each child’s safety, well-being, and future.

CASA of the Pikes Peak Region also supports children and families through specialized programs, including the Milton Foster Children’s Fund and Supervised Exchange and Parenting Time. These programs provide additional resources, support, and safe environments for families navigating challenging circumstances.

CASA of the Pikes Peak Region’s Community Impact

Since opening its doors in 1989, CASA of the Pikes Peak Region has positively impacted the lives of more than 27,000 children.

In the past year alone, the organization served 1,235 children with the support of 447 dedicated volunteers, continuing its mission to ensure every child has someone standing beside them when they need it most.  

The organization’s impact extends beyond the courtroom. Through advocacy, family support, practical resources, and committed volunteers, CASA helps create greater stability and brighter futures for children throughout our community.
